We provide creative landscaping design, and unique potscapes to residents and local businesses in the Calgary Area since 1996. Meet The Owner

Andrea has spent her entire life surrounded by plants. She initially studied floral design, but she soon found it to be too limiting- opting instead for plant care as it was more what spoke to her. She attended the Canadian College of Floral Design before taking correspondence courses on plants, pesticides and horticulture at Olds College and Lakelands College. In 1996, Andrea founded Extra Special Plants Inc. which specializes in residential and commercial plantscaping services. In 2001, Andrea purchased Ornamental Plant Scapes Ltd., incorporated it into Extra Special Plant Care Ltd., and operates to this day as a family business with many satisfied clients!

Andrea loves to have fun with plants! She brings a space to life with the use of colour and special plants that fit that area. She says, "It's all about how you feel in the atmosphere." She truly wants to bring out the personality of the space she's working with. Even in difficult areas where there is either too much heat or too much cold, she loves the challenge of finding the right plant for the right place.
